The evolution of RH&A

The automotive sector has always moved quickly. Renowned for innovation and breakthroughs in technology, the industry has never really stood still.

However, with increasing car sales, new models, more variations and the shift to electric-powered vehicles, the industry is probably undergoing its greatest period of change since the introduction of the combustion engine.

R&HA has been at the heart of many of the biggest changes the automotive logistics sector has seen over the past 20 years. We are the offspring of two German parent companies. The Rudolph Group offers extensive automotive expertise, while Hellmann Worldwide Logistics provides logistical solutions infrastructure.

As a leading provider of on-site logistics services, R&HA specialises in removing inefficiency and waste from our clients’ logistics processes, ranging from the management of large, time-sensitive warehouses to direct production line feed and sub-assembly.

We have extensive experience of designing solutions to meet the most demanding logistics challenges, such as downsizing and shut-downs, providing consultancy and bespoke IT systems development individually tailored to each client’s needs.

With more than 1,000 UK employers and a main base in the Midlands, the UK’s manufacturing heartland, we have created an agile, customer-focused business that can respond to our customers’ needs swiftly and efficiently.

Working with a diverse range of OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 businesses within the automotive supply chain, we’ve provided logistics solutions to a host of prestigious marques, including Rover, Aston Martin, Bentley and the VW after-market.

We’ve also held and operated the longest-running contract in the automotive logistics sector, at the Mini plant, in Oxford.
