Director promotions for dynamic duo

Investing in our team and giving talented staff the opportunity to develop their careers with us is a key part of our people strategy here at R&HA.

That’s why we’re delighted to announce the promotions of two staff to director positions on our senior management team.

Jimmy Hamilton, who has been with the company since 2001, has been appointed to the role of Business Strategy Director. He is tasked with developing R&HA’s ongoing strategy for growth.

Jimmy joined R&HA’s operations team almost twenty years ago and has progressed through a number of roles, most recently as Director of Operations. He has seen at first hand the challenges our customers face, and has played a pivotal role in helping us to develop flexible, dynamic solutions which offer world-class service.

Away from work, Jimmy is a keen runner and has completed several half-marathons, 10k races and also the London Marathon over the years. A keen footballer, he is a former youth apprentice and squad member for Oxford United FC.

Paul Wheeldon, meanwhile, has been promoted to the role of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Training Director. He has held a number of roles with R&HA since joining the team as Group Health & Safety Manager in October 2016. Prior to joining, Paul had enjoyed a long and successful career in health & safety management, following 22 years of service in the Armed Forces.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institution, and a chartered member of IOSH, AIEMA, MIFSM, PCQI and MIEHF. Paul’s interests include cycling, hiking and skiing and keeping fit and active.
