R&HA is excited by the result of the latest idea’s scheme winner. Brandon Campbell’s scooped the £2,500 prize for his idea whilst based at one of the company’s largest automotive logistics operations.

Brandon, is a clerical ‘Visual Display Unit’ Operator and works in one of R&HA’s goods receipt/goods issue operations. He has submitted an inspirational idea which brought significant savings to the business, in the last 3 months.

After suggesting the concept as part of ideas scheme, the R&HA Operational Management team and Project Support Partners assessed the validity of the idea, and subsequently implemented the necessary changes to release the benefits of the concept.  The idea is now live – and is working in-line with the operational KPI’s.

The R&HA Ideas scheme has been seen several successes so far this year and the count of suggestions submitted via the scheme has already increased by over 200% in comparison to last year

“I’ve been at the company for 2 years and 3 months now, I joined in January 2019. I work as a VDU across two of the contract’s major operations. I am responsible for making sure everything is where it should be in the warehouse and making sure everything is booked in so that we can supply parts to the customers manufacturing process.

If an idea is proposed by an R&HA employee or agency worker and the R&HA projects team take it on as an official project and make a significant savings then the individual receives a net bonus in supplement to their wages.

Uwe Winter, R&HA C.E.O – “It is another great initiative that has come from within the team, it’s a further sign that we are growing as individuals and as a team. Well done to everyone, not least Brandon, that has taken the time and effort to submit their ideas so far, we will continue to develop and grow as a team”.

Brandon happily received his cheque for the suggestion of the idea on 1st March 2021 (Right) presented by General Manager Josh Cadle (Left)
