Tony Richardson

Group Health & Safety Manager

I joined the business in July this year as the Group Health and Safety Manager, a new role for the company working for Mark Cranidge, Managing Director, and based at HQ in Lichfield.

For the past nine years I have worked within the Chemical Manufacturing Industry in Hertfordshire but also supporting manufacturing facilities in Russia and Macedonia, an excellent opportunity to work alongside other cultures and working practices. Prior to this, I was working within the Fire Service for 22 years.

I have been married for 25 years this year and have two amazing children, both of which are studying at University. Currently living in Hertfordshire near Cambridge, we are planning to relocate to the Stratford-upon-Avon area.

I am a bit of a sports fan and like to keep abreast of most sporting activities (with the exception of Football), Rugby being my preference, spectating nowadays. Cycling for leisure is now my passion as the means to keeping fit, so looking forward to facing the hills of Warwickshire.

I am looking to improve the existing H&S systems and work toward achieving the recognised management system OHSAS 18001 for Safety and Health. Exciting times lay ahead, and I am pleased to be part of the future growth for Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive.
