Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive recruit Graduate trainees to grow and support business requirements
13th July 2012
In 2008 the Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive Directorship made the strategic decision to recruit undergraduates into the organisation to provide support and learn from the company's departmental management teams.
Having one of the most experienced and established management structures in the UK Automotive logistics sector is one of Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive's strongest attributes and has, without doubt, been one of the key factors to the overall success of the company and its customers. However, to ensure that the company continues to develop and grow, and that the managerial team’s experience is passed along through the company's structure, the recruitment of dynamic graduate trainees was carried out.
Rudolph and Hellmann worked alongside a number of graduate recruitment specialists to specifically detail the requirements and then indentify candidates for the challenging graduate trainee role. As the role would involve working alongside some of the most demanding, quality driven automotive manufacturers in the world the Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive recruitment team had to be sure that candidates appointed possessed the correct skills and level of commitment to be successful. The structured interview process was carried out involving three key interview stages; on the phone, face-to-face, and with the company directorship.
In total, Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive have appointed 4 undergraduates into its management structure, all of which have experienced and worked on various operational and business development projects within the business. The aim is to give each individual substantial exposure to key elements of the automotive logistics industry including Operations Management, Logistics Development, Quality Management, Process Design and Productivity Analysis.
Each graduate that has started with the company since 2008 has contributed significantly on a number of projects within the business, including the renewal of significant contracts with a number of customers. Many of the graduates that have started with Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive have gone on to take managerial roles within the company, which also supports and demonstrates the companies ‘Home Grown Timber’ Policy which its expertise and experience has been built upon over the past ten years.
