Recognition of how R&HA are evolving automotive logistics
The Nachural Awards celebrate the regions business ecosystem, its connectivity and entrepreneurial spirit in this fast-changing world. At its core is the belief that drivers of economic growth, and the determination of leaders to change the status quo, must be recognised and encouraged. Automotive manufacturing is the beating heart of UK manufacturing and advanced engineering. It accounts for 20% of UK manufacturing output through world leading business and industry. So the benchmark is high if you are going to stand out.
"The judging panel were unanimous in their selection of R&HA as Business of the Year. Their selection was based upon the challenging manufacturing environment in which they operate, and how under the new leadership, the business is responding to change. It’s no secret the automotive sector is undergoing a seismic shift with the transition to electric vehicles and next generation mobility.
The standout factor was their customer-centric approach, strong vision, and the value they place upon people. They are passionate about empowering their employees, and provide real opportunity for development. When looking at their business leadership team, the judging panel remarked on the fact, every person in it had risen through the ranks from the production shop floor. It’s the people in any business who are always the most important factor, and it was great to see that this is at the heart of their business strategy."
