R&HA are proud to announce the renewal the 'Silver' status certification from global procurement market intelligence provider EcoVadis. This certification underlines our ability to adhere to best-in-class standards in sustainability, procurement, environmental impact, training, business ethics and quality assurance.
EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings for global supply chains.
It provides us with a clear-cut way of meeting our clients’ requirements.
Of the 65,000+ companies EcoVadis has surveyed around the world, only the top 25% have achieved Silver Status, including industry leaders such as Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, Nestle, Michelin and BASF. Its ratings provide detailed insight into environmental, social and ethical risks across 198 purchasing categories in 155 countries.
R&HA CEO Uwe Winter said:
Back to Insights“Retaining our Silver Medal Award status with Ecovadis and improving on last year’s performance shows our commitment to sustainability and our CSR programme. We are extremely proud to be in the top 25% of the 65,000+ companies in the world that are part of the Ecovadis programme and in the top 15% of logistics companies globally. We at R&HA understand the part we all play in developing a sustainable organisation and it is this understanding that drives our business forward. We take all aspects of our CSR programme to heart and this year 8 R&HA colleagues are undertaking the 10 Peaks Challenge in Wales in aid of the Youth Adventure Trust. We have scored very well in some areas and have identified how we will improve in others, The CSR initiative is one that the Directors of R&HA are passionate about and our mission is to have sustainability ingrained in all our processes and activities. Our plan is to make large steps in the coming year to achieve a Gold Medal, but with all the activities and policies being considered the norm to our whole team.”
