Providing quality driven, dynamic solutions to the automotive sector

The sequenced parts are received by Rudolph and Hellmann in supplier containers but then need to be transferred to the ‘B to C’ containers to be delivered trackside in the correct quantities and sequence order.
A critical element but easily overlooked
The entire container delivery and collection loop is managed by Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive and each container is handled several times an hour by varied MHE types. However it would be easy to become complacent about the container refurbishment and maintenance when the focus is on sequenced parts. This is why Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive take no chances, make no assumptions and always seek to go the extra mile.
The container is critical in the provision of a robust logistics service
Due to the time sensitive nature for which the containers are utilised and also the value of the products which they repeatedly cradle, the condition and suitability of the container is critical in the provision of a robust logistics service.
In order to ensure the transfer of services, the Rudolph and Hellmann contract and operations management team worked closely with the customer’s logistics team to agree a suitable service schedule and specification for the ongoing service. All associated processes and timings were documented in accordance to the specification.
A cost benefit has already been demonstrated to the end customer
Once this was agreed, Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive appointed the relevant staff and maintenance equipment and the transfer of the value-added service was completed seamlessly. A cost benefit has already been demonstrated to the end customer through the transfer of services.
The management of this value-added service further demonstrates Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive’s capability in providing quality driven, dynamic solutions to the automotive sector.
