Promotions on the table as GM heads Stateside

A career with R&HA can unlock a world of opportunities.

Investing in our team and helping our people to develop their careers with us is a key part of our people strategy.

So, we’re delighted to wish long-serving Mick Cook, General Manager of our Oxford operation, a fond farewell as he heads to America to take up a new role with our parent company, Rudolph Logistics Group.

Mick, who joined the R&HA team in 2006, is relocating to Rudolph Logistics’ head office in Greer, South Carolina, one of the hotspots of American automobile manufacturing.

The BMW production facility has a prominent role in the Greer-Spartanburg metropolitan region, together with the many suppliers that have been established in the region.

During his time with R&HA, Mick has been responsible for managing all day-to-day operational aspects of production at our sites in Darlaston and Winsford.

He has worked on production for clients including Aston Martin, Bentley, ZF and BMW.

We’re also pleased to announce that Josh Cadle has been promoted to the role of General Manager, as Mick’s successor.

Josh has been with R&HA for just over two years – his second spell with the company – in the role of Senior Operations Manager.

Prior to re-joining us, he was a Warehouse Manager for a large cash and carry chain, before which he spent a year with R&HA as a Group Leader at our operation in Oxford.

Uwe Winter, R&HA CEO, said:

“Many congratulations to both Mick and Josh on their new roles. Over the years, Mick has become a key asset to our team and will be truly missed, although he leaves with our best wishes to take up an exciting new opportunity in America.

“Josh, meanwhile, has proven already in his former roles in R&HA that he is a valuable member of the team who will bring fresh skills, experience and perspective to our operations.

“R&HA is, first and foremost, a people business and these two appointments highlight the opportunities we provide for career progression, as well as underlining our philosophy of investing in our team to ensure we have the right people in the right roles, across our growing organisation.”
