Annual Automotive Logistics Conference in Dubai

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics hosted its annual Automotive Logistics workshop in Dubai this year on March 5th, 6th and 7th.

The 3 day workshop was attended by 52 Hellmann Worldwide and associate company representatives, travelling from over 20 different countries including Australia, Argentina, Brazil, China, Dubai, India, Mexico, South Africa and the USA.

The workshop was conducted and presented by Hellmann Automotive Logistics Director - Bernd Oevermann who hosts the workshop every year in a unique selected global location. The purpose of the workshop is to encourage each country and business units to share ideas, knowledge and prospecting business development opportunities through networking and presentations.

The format of the workshop began with each country and its representatives delivering presentations to the workshop attendees, including details of current business unit logistics activity, prospecting business and key targets throughout the year. A number of networking sessions were time-tabled across the day allowing each attending representative to exchange business opportunity contacts and intelligence with others.

The workshop attendees were also given detailed tours of the two main aftermarket logistics operations that are managed by Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive on behalf of two Global Automotive Manufacturers, both situated in the Jebel Ali free zone in Dubai.

The workshop was concluded by Bernd Oevermann presenting the global business targets for 2012/13, and acknowledged the success of the workshop to all delegates. The annual automotive workshop successfully demonstrates the values of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and its collaborative approach to provide quality logistics services to all its customers across the world.
